Do your servers have redundant power supplies? Do you connect each server to both UPC's or one server - one UPC?
One problem I had with Powerchute connected from UPC to server, via serial cable, is that it can cause a shutdown if it detects an interruption in the signal. I had multiple servers connected to one UPS and either disconnected the serial cable or shut down the server and it lead to the UPS shutting down. It was a long time ago, memory fails me.
